Why I’m Going Back to Bijan Robinson Anytime TD This Week
Even though Bijan Robinson didn’t hit the mark for us in Week 1, I’m sticking with him for an anytime touchdown this week. Watching the NFL All-22 recap, one thing became clear: Robinson had ample opportunities to find the end zone, especially with multiple touches inside the 10-yard line. The Falcons clearly want to feature him in their red zone packages, and I believe his breakout is coming soon.

Yes, the Eagles’ defense is no joke, but it’s important to remember that Robinson had success against a tough Steelers run defense in Week 1. The Steelers’ front seven is one of the most formidable in the league, and Bijan still managed to show flashes of why he’s such a highly regarded talent. His ability to create yards after contact and burst through tight spaces makes him a constant threat in scoring situations.
With Kirk Cousins continuing to settle into the Falcons’ system, I expect the offense to lean on Robinson even more as Cousins works back to full rhythm. Right now, Bijan is the most reliable weapon in the Falcons’ offense. His dual-threat capability—both as a rusher and a pass-catcher out of the backfield—makes him an ideal choice for goal-line touches. As Cousins adjusts, we can expect Atlanta to rely on Robinson to spark the offense.
My Opinion: Bijan Robinson’s Week 1 usage showed a lot of promise despite the lack of a touchdown. Given his red-zone opportunities and the likelihood of more touches against an Eagles defense that, while strong, doesn’t quite match the Steelers’ run-stopping capability, I’m confident Bijan will break through and score this week. This is a perfect time to back him for an anytime touchdown.
