Why I Like CeeDee Lamb to Score a Touchdown Against the Giants

CeeDee Lamb is in a prime position to score this week against the New York Giants, and here’s why I’m backing him for an anytime touchdown.

One of the main reasons I’m high on Lamb this week is the expected increase in his involvement in the Cowboys’ offense. Lamb saw 10 targets in Week 3, and I believe we’ll see Dak Prescott feed him even more in this primetime matchup. After the sideline discussion between Lamb and Prescott last weekend, there’s added motivation to get the ball to their top playmaker early and often. Dallas is looking to bounce back, and Lamb is the key to jumpstarting their passing attack.

Favorable Matchup vs. Giants’ Secondary

The Giants’ secondary has benefited from facing below-average passing offenses in recent weeks, but they haven’t faced a receiving threat like Lamb yet this season. This presents a perfect opportunity for Dallas to exploit New York’s lackluster cornerback group, particularly in the red zone. Lamb’s ability to win one-on-one matchups and Prescott’s trust in him make him a prime candidate to find the end zone in this contest.

Primetime Performance

Given that this is a primetime game, the stage is set for Lamb to make a statement. After the heated discussion with Prescott, it’s clear that Lamb wants to be more involved, and the Cowboys are likely to prioritize getting him the ball. This is especially true in high-leverage situations, like the red zone, where Lamb has the size and athleticism to outmatch Giants defenders.
